Katherine brings over 20 years of expertise advising clients at the start-up through middle market stage on originating, structuring and executing debt. Expert at all things financial, she has placed over $5 billion of debt financings and advised 100’s of companies successfully on reaching their internal growth goals. Katherine’s specialty is working with clients of every level on the financial knowledge spectrum to understand, through a series of strategic sessions, the optimal strategy needed to reach their goals and then prepare, plan and execute on that plan.
Katherine was a Managing Director at Monroe Credit Advisors, a middle market investment banking and credit advisory firm. While at Monroe, she utilized her vast knowledge of credit structures to assist clients in securing the optimal financing structure for their company. As a lender, she has managed borrowing relationships of all sizes and credit classifications, from highly structured asset based transactions, through unsecured investment grade deals for companies in the Unites States and abroad.

Prior to joining Monroe Credit Advisors, she served as a Senior Vice President at Bank of America in the Transportation Finance Group, where she managed an $800 million portfolio of companies focused in the air, trucking, maritime, and rail segments. At Bank of America, she was responsible for all aspects of the lending relationship including deal origination, structuring, underwriting, documentation, and portfolio management. While at Bank of America, she was selected to manage her divisions’ most sensitive and high profile bank relationships, requiring frequent interaction with their executive management and board.

Katherine is also an expert in research and analysis, who has written many white papers and portfolio reports. She is known for her thoughtful analysis, insight into market dynamics and outstanding risk management skills.

Katherine earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Boston University, and her Master’s in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
